Trey Wharton was raised locally in Huntsville and attended Texas Christian University graduating with a degree in Business Administration Finance.
An active member of the community, Trey has served on the Board of Trustees for Huntsville Independent School District both formerly as Secretary from 2016-2020 and currently as President for the last four years. He was also the Director of Walker County Chamber of Commerce from 2015 – 2020 and dually held the position of Chairman of the Board in 2019. Other involvements include advising on the HMH Hospital Community Board since 2020 and worshipping at First United Methodist Church of Huntsville.
He met his college sweetheart, JoLynne, while at TCU, and they have been married for over 30 years. A proud father of two, Dickson and Alexys, Trey relishes in time with his family, sports, and traveling.
